Udruga Better Me is pleased to present the project “Youth Voice in Democracy”, which will be held from 18 to 27 August 2023 in Horezu (Romania). For this project we are looking for a Group Leader (with no age limit) and 4 young Croatians or Foreigners legally residing in Croatia between 17 and 30.
This Youth Exchange is on the theme of Democracy and youth participation.
The objectives of the project are the following:
- Stimulate and promote the acquisition of skills and competences on Democracy and European Citizenship in young people.
- Explore the intercultural dimension of this Youth Exchange, through the participation of other people with different cultures, languages and customs.
- Develop communication skills in English and other foreign languages as a means to enrich yourself professionally and personally.
Selection criteria for participants.
- between the ages of 17 and 30.
- ability to communicate in English, even in school.
- Be motivated to participate and interact with others.
Additional criteria for Group Leaders
- at least 18 years old with no age limit.
- Good fluency in English.
- understanding of the importance of managing a group and working in an international context.
Reimbursement for travel expenses
The group will be reimbursed for travel expenses up to €275 per person. These expenses include buses, trains, airplanes in economy class, low cost or second class.
Room and board.
The Romanian organization “Youth on the Move” will provide food (breakfast, lunch, dinner and two coffee breaks) and accommodation at the “Horezu” hotel in double rooms with single beds.
